Happy Monday to all of you! Hope you had fun watching the Academy Awards last night!

Today I wanted to bring you a few tid bits from the wedding of the century:William and Kate! This is a huge deal and will be such a grand wedding however I would never want to invite that many guests!! I absolutely love that they look so in love when they speak and when they just look at each other--so cute!! They are also having a Friday wedding- like me!

I wanted to share with some more flower ideas I had this week! As always we are trying to save a little money here and there and flowers can add up quickly! How gorgeous is baby's breath?? I am loving it- it is simple, classy, and very dainty (my grandma uses this word all the time and it encompasses baby's breath perfectly-- don't you think!) I was thinking the stems could be wrapped with pink ribbon to make them pop a little more! Here are some photos!

Rehearsal Dinner Ideas

It's Wednesday!! The week is half over-- yay! I hope you are all having an absolutely fabulous week!

While we were at the castle we discussed the option of possibly holding our rehearsal dinner there as well! We are wanting to go along the lines of a picnic theme-- relaxed and casual yet still classy and elegant. Here are some of my inspiration pics:

Visit to the Castle!

Happy Tuesday to all of you! As promised here are some pictures from this weekend's visit to the castle!

Everyone who came up loved it and I fell in love with it all over again! The kids were super cute-- all grins as they saw a real life castle.

The three super cute kids are my cousins who will be the candle lighters and the ring bearer. The beds shown are from the king and queen suites.  The mirror is in the bathroom where I will be getting ready!

It was gorgeous and they are in the midst of doing some renovations which includes revamping the women's quarters (where we will be getting ready!) before our wedding so I am excited for that!

As you know I have been looking for someone to do my hair and thank you for all the suggestions! I found out this weekend that my cousin Tony's fiance can do our hair and possibly makeup-- yes!!! This makes it even better because now we can get ready in the castle in that fancy bathroom!!

Weekend Visit!

Happy Monday to all of you!! I hope you had such a great weekend, I know I did! My mom, aunt, and cousins all came up to see Omaha. We toured the castle, showed them our campus and the church, went shopping for a dress for Jenna(candle Lighter), got some cute grey pants for Kobe(candle Lighter), and tried to get Easton fitted for his ring bearer tux! Just too much fun!

This is Jenna she is my cousin and will be my candle lighter. She is adorable! Here is the first dress we found for her...

This dress is kind of gorgeous! I love it and if you haven't guessed by now this is the one we all liked! It is pink and silver!!

All in all a great weekend minus the studying. More about this weekend's festivities tomorrow!

Pink shoes all the way around!

The shoes are here! I wanted to share them with you so here are Danny's pink converse shoes!

His shoes were embroidered to say Groom and 11 for the year we are getting married!

Daisy kept sticking her nose into the camera so then we took some shots of her too:)

Apparently she was feeling left out or she was mad because I wouldn't let her chew on our shoes!!

My shoes are here too- Found them and 6pm.com and they were a steal!

A Valentine's Date!

I hope all of you had a perfect Valentine's day! I know I did! After a weekend filled with studying and writing papers Danny treated me last night to a restaurant that we have never been to! It is called the 360 Steakhouse and sits on the top floor of Harrah's Casino in Iowa. Let me just tell you it was beautiful-- the pictures do not even come close to what it looks like in real life... You could see the whole Omaha skyline and the river-amazing! O the food was delicious!!
