What's on the Menu?

Happy Tuesday Lovelies! I hope you had a fantastic long Memorial Day Weekend! Today I have been brainstorming ideas for our menus at the reception. I love the idea of having a cute little menu for the guests, so they will know what will be served for dinner. I found the following two images at Weddingbee and absolutely love this idea- I am dying for that fork, knife, and spoon punch and think I may have found one!! (If you know where to get one leave me a comment!!) Anyway all she did was punch the menu and put another paper behind it to make it look like a silhouette- very crafty!

I also realized today that I love folded napkins!
Google image search

Isn't that cute! Here is a tutorial I found- on how to fold the napkin!

  1. Fold the napkin in half to form a rectangle.
  2. Place folded edge at the bottom.
  3. Bring top edge of the first layer to the bottom.
  4. Turn the napkin over...and bring left edge to centre.
  5. Fold this section over on itself two more times in the same direction.
Tuck the cutlery  into the pocket.  This method works best with a large napkin...and one that is printed on both sides. (From Judy's front porch)

I think this is worth a try!!

Do they measure up?

Happy Memorial Day for those of you celebrating! It seems like the days are just flying by now and I have so much to do!!

A few weekends ago my dad and my brothers went to get fitted for their suits! Of course I was there with a camera in hand to document the process and the sales associates probably thought I was crazy but they played along and stepped out of the way for the shots.

Dad trying on a jacket to be fitted and looking in the mirror! This random little girl was watching me take pictures and just happened to get in this one! She's cute!

Here is my older brother Tim- the one who just graduated High School!

Younger brother Joey- he was so cute and you could tell he felt so grown up!

So this is the real suit- they will have pink bow ties though!
What a fun day we had!! Have a wonderful Monday!

Linens and Lovely things!

Happy Wednesday! I cannot believe it is Wednesday again. It seems like the days are flying by!!

Don't forget to enter the current giveaway from StampOutOnline!

About a week ago we visited the castle again to pick out our linens! This was the first time since last summer that we had visited where it had been green and I mean lush green and things were just starting to bloom! It is going to be gorgeous in June!

Our colors are silver and pink and so naturally we wanted linens that would match those colors.

To save a bit of money we decided to have the white tablecloth and then do you see the wide runner in the middle? We will have one of those on every table- some will be pink and some will be that light silver you see on the left! It should make for a gorgeous overlooking picture and for when the guests arrive!

I am crossing things off left and right from my do-to list! The only problem is that as soon as I get something crossed off I find another thing to add!!

O and I almost forgot I am going to make these cute little cupcakes for my brother's graduation ceremony- starting them today!

Have a great Wednesday!!

1 More!

Can you believe it- 1 MORE MONTH!!  I write this as I scan in my brother's pictures for a graduation slideshow and everything is bittersweet. On the one had it is so amazing that he is graduating this month and I am getting married next month. On the other hand it marks a brand new chapter in both of our lives and it is exciting, scary, overwhelming and everything in between.

I literally cannot wait to marry my best friend in the whole world and begin our lives together- but I am already starting to miss wedding planning!

Sundae with an Etsy Giveaway on Top!

Today I am so excited to bring you another Etsy giveaway with a vendor that I have ordered from!!

Without further ado here is another Sundae with an Etsy Giveaway on Top!

Do you remember when I ordered that stamp for our favors? In case you don't here it is again:

I stamped it on my favors and will be using it in other places as well! I loved working with Lisa, the owner and mastermind behind StampOutOnline!

From Lisa:
My name is Lisa, I’m a full time wife which takes up a majority of my energy, oh, I have three children too. LOL! I have a 10 year old boy and two little girls 7 and 4. My husband and I have recently reversed rolls and I’m given an exciting opportunity to turn Stamp Out into something “MUCH BIGGER” then a part time hobby. After you receive your stamp if you are 100% happy with the quality and service please pass on my info to your friends on Facebook and in your blogs. I bought Stamp Out from my uncle 11 years ago and at the time it was primarily business stamps . I quickly learned that I couldn’t run it by myself and immediately did what I always do when I get myself in over my head…”MOM, you need to get down here and help me out!” I’ve held her hostage ever since. I’ve expanded beyond business stamps to cute, crafty, whimsical, custom stamps. I LOVE the Etsy forum. I enjoy the high class and caliber of the Etsy shopper. Etsy shoppers have proven time and time again to show respect and admiration for high quality products and other peoples talents.
If you describe what you are looking for I can usually get close within a few proofs. I know fonts, I have a lot of stamp graphics in my library and a desire create the perfect stamp for you.
(This is exactly true-- All I did was tell her my vision, I didn't even have to send a picture and she made exactly what I was looking for!)

Here is some of her work!

Not only does she make adorable and custom wedding stamps but she can also make business, personal, or really any kind of stamp you would like!!
I love her designs and can not wait to share them with you! She has generously offered a customized stamp for our Sundae with An Etsy Giveaway on Top! To win your very own customized stamp for your wedding or everyday use:
1. Comment below on what your design would look like!
2. Make sure you are a follower of True Love Stories
3. Like StampOutOnline on Facebook and tell her Kamie sent you over!
Want an extra 2 entries? Tweet this giveaway and link it back here so I can follow you and do the same with your blog posts!

Good Luck Lovelies!
