Today I wanted to finally share with you my search for my dress. One weekend my mom, two aunts, two cousins, and grandma went dress shopping and found my dress quite quickly. Now I must admit to you all that I am not much of a shopper, I never really have been. I also don't enjoy being the center of attention especially when it comes to shopping, so yes I was a little out of my element when trying on these gorgeous gowns!! Anyway me and my entourage went to a little store called Amanda's Bridal and seriously I cannot recommend them enough if you are in Colorado! I loved my consultant- she listened to me and picked up on my "shyness" so she picked up on nonverbal cues- she knew which ones I liked and which ones I didn't. So here are the ones I tried on...

All in all it was a fun day and I was glad we only had to go to one store before finding it!! Did it take you only a few dresses to find yours or did you try on hundreds?

ReplyDeleteYou look so fabulous in all of the gowns. That style must just be perfect for you! I would have never been able to pick! Once I tried on so many they kind of all blended together, too.
Did "the One" just feel different than the rest?

ReplyDeleteThat was the perfect dress for you! :) Yeah, I went to a couple stores and tried on a few... But really it was only like 10 dresses total and I found the one.

ReplyDeleteI love the dress you chose! I was a "two-dress bride," meaning I bought one dress off the rack on the first shopping trip and later changed my mind about it. I then went back and got my Alfred Angelo gown a few months later.

ReplyDeleteIt was definitely your dress. I fell in love with my dress on the internet and found it on the 2nd shopping trip. The first one was awful - nothing was suiting me at all.
