It was so much simpler than sewing and used a lot less fabric. I am proud to say that I became a real DIY last night because I created it without any tutorial. Yay! Today I want to share my little flowers with you!!
Things you may need:
-HOT GLUE GUN!
-Fabric (Probably only need 1/2 yard if you are planning to do 6-10 flowers that are medium sized.)
-Felt for the back or regular fabric will work as well
-Scissors
-Pearl for middle
First go get some fabric- I used this sheer pink because I thought it was pretty but anything will do.
Cut about 8 little squares of fabric for each flower (you may need more or less to fill out your flower!)
Cut out a circle from you felt or regular fabric-my circle was about 1 and 3/4 inches in diameter.
Make sure your hot glue gun is ready and glue a little spot in the middle of your circle, then scrunch up your piece of fabric like this
And place on circle- do not worry too much about how it looks right now. You can scrunch it up later. Continue scrunching and placing on the circle until the circle is full.
Now smash down your flower so that you can find a good center to put your pearl on. Hot glue your pearl and place it on the center of your flower.
Trim the petals to your liking and if you want a little more ruffle in a certain spot use your glue gun to ruffle it.
The flower will either be on the waist or on the shoulderish part of the dresses!
So what do you think?
P.S. my moss letters are coming along but still not quite done!
I think they are super cute! love love love the color!!!
