Invitations: Check!

Happy Friday Everyone!! Yesterday we cut and pasted until my fingers hurt but it was so much fun! Danny and I cut all the paper out and then my grandma, cousins, and my mom helped me put them all together! All we have left to do is to put a seal on and then address the envelopes! The whole thing was basically DIY, I did order the paper and the pocket folds from Cards & Pockets whom I highly recommend if you like pockets and folders! The invites were designed using Microsoft Office Publisher and the map was made on Microsoft Office Power Point!

It feels so good to have them done! This was probably the biggest project left, perfect for a spring break project! One more project done! Have a fabulous weekend and look for a few more posts from Andy's and Audra's wedding!

A True Love Story!

Andy & Audra were married in January and unfortunately I was unable to attend this gorgeous looking wedding. It seems like they met and were in love immediately. Andy brought Audra to family Christmas's and other family get together. You could just look at them and know they adored each other! It was incredibly cute! 

Andy is in the military and had been deployed to Iraq, during this time Audra and Andy planned their wedding across the ocean from each other! 

I have a strong admiration for Audra because she is so independent and was strong and courageous while Andy was away from her. It takes a very special love between two people to make a long distance relationship work and while they missed each other they never complained.

I also admire Andy for joining the military and protecting each and every one of us! Now without further ado here are their getting ready pictures from Joie de Vivre Photography.

Invites!

Happy Wednesday everyone! This week is my spring break and we are getting quite a few things done! yay! One of those things is the invitation-- awhile back I order diy invites for Cards and Pockets and so all we had to do was design an invitation to go into the pocket fold!! Here it is-- I still have a few things to tweak and I will definitely show you the finished product in the pocket folder!!

New Bathrooms!

Happy Monday!

Our Venue previously had port-a-potties-not exactly an attracting factor- even though they were the nicest I had ever seen. By the time of our wedding they will have brand new bathrooms that are far from being a port-a-potty!!It was kind of hilarious when we went back and visited it with our family because the guy kept going on and on about these new bathrooms and he would crack jokes about them about every five minutes. Apparently he was excited about the new potties!!! And of course I am too, so much so that I am looking into doing some bathroom baskets like these:
