Gettin' around Omaha

Happy Monday! Hope you enjoyed the super bowl weekend!! Here is what I worked on this weekend!

It was a lot of fun to make and pretty simple too! I used power point which is my new found love! I went to google maps and put in all the places in Omaha I wanted on the map and then plotted the major streets out on powerpoint using the line tool. On the back I am going to put written instructions because the map is really just a cute detail and isn't 100% accurate! Most of our guests are coming from Colorado so that is why I went all Shrek themed with a land far far away!! These guys will go in our invites and possibly again in our OOT bags.  Hope you enjoy it!

The Getaway!

I love getaway pictures-the adorably decorated cars, the happy new couple, and all the guests looking on! I would love to have the same carriage that Danny proposed with at our wedding and we are looking into it but for now here are some fun pictures for you to look at!!

Pink Shoes- for the guys!!

Remember when I told you that I wanted all of the groomsmen to wear pink converse shoes with their grey tuxes? Well I had crossed out that idea because converse are a little expensive for them to buy pink shoes that they will never wear again! Well imagine my surprise when I was looking to see if there were any deals out there and guess what I found????

Pink converse shoes on Eastbay for 9.99 no way!! Now they had limited sizes but I knew it was meant to be when they were the sizes the groomsmen wore! How lucky!!

Snow day- actually ice day!

Good morning and happy Wednesday!! Here in Omaha we have been braving a blizzard with strong winds and cold temps. Today my clinicals were canceled for this reason. How I am looking forward to spring!!

It seems like in Omaha  we either have really cold weather or really hot weather. To prepare our guests for that hot humid weather we want to make programs on a stick!! They will double as fans-- so cute for whoever first thought of this!!
